Jennifer Tausig is the Executive Director of the Jerome Gun Hill BID which surrounds the main campus of Montefiore Medical Center in the Norwood section of the Bronx. She works closely with all relevant stakeholders to continue to transform the district into a safe, vibrant shopping corridor for those who live and work in the area.
In adddition, Jennifer serves as the Executive Director of Mosholu Preservation Corporation.
Jennifer has worked in the Bronx for several years and cares deeply for underserved communities. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a specialization in Economic and Community Development from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Manager, Neighborhood Development
Ariana Cipriani is the Manager of Neighborhood Development for the Jerome Gun Hill BID. She provides marketing services, business development resources, and strategic support to over 230 small businesses. She also connects local entrepreneurs, property owners, and community members to attract diverse, quality, and affordable retail to the BID.
Ariana manages the BID's social media, district marketing initiatives, and plans and executes all of the BID's community events ranging from street festivals to health oriented workshops.
Ariana has a Bachelors degree from Fordham University in Urban Studies and Environmental Studies and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College.
